Café

Provides a varied menu, with good quality food and drinks at very reasonable prices, including the famous Gladys sandwich and excellent full breakfast.  It offers service with a smile. It is also a place where people feel confident to talk about their worries, problems and community concerns. Volunteers and customers have a close relationship which demonstrates that they feel that this is their café. Everyone is welcome.

The Clothes Bank

Has a wide selection of good quality merchandise, including garments suitable for children and adults.

Furniture bedding white goods etc. are also for those in need.

The Food Bank

Since the pandemic started, Llanfair has begun to operate a food bank. This was initially sourced with contributions from local people but has also benefitted from grants from the local authority and donations from friends near and far.

C.A.F.E.

(Children And Family Evening) is full of fun for children and adults alike, activities include games, films, disco, crafts, and much more. It is an open access, safe and friendly environment for children. Wednesday night is Sausage / chicken Nuggets night, come along, and enjoy.

Parents and Toddlers.

This time is set aside for young ones to play and and their parents to chat.

Gentle Exercise.

Movement and gentle exercise to relaxing music.

Friday Coffee Morning.

An opportunity for people from the community to meet and  chat in a warm space and enjoy tea, toast and coffee.

Well Being Walk.

Each week, normally on a Friday, a group meet to walk and enjoy the Rhondda scenery.

Weekly Housing Surgery and Monthly Money Advice.

Llanfair offers a space for the local Housing Association’s Neighbourhood Officer to meet weekly with residents to hear their concerns. Money advice is also offered monthly for those struggling with finances

Gardening.

Llanfair is a base for a number of volunteers to carry out garden maintenance for those in the community unable to maintain the grounds around their properties.
